Overall I happy with my speakers. My situation when I bought them and installed them was a little strange, so I ended up paying about 30 too much a retail store (bummer). I wish I had done more homework and possibly purchased them elsewhere, therefore saving me money. However, I am happy with the product, the range and clarity are impressive. Even at full volume they will not distort (but my stock speakers will). I can definitely see myself purchasing more Sony audio gear for my car. I don't think these would suit a full fledged audiophile, but for an average user looking to upgrade over stock and not break the bank, these will do just fine.
The instructions are really only useful for identifying the positive and negative terminals. If you don't understand what I just said either do some serious homework, or pay to have them installed.
